I have been visiting this barbershop for the past one to two years, and it is always a place where I can spend time comfortably. The relaxed walk from Chitose-Funabashi Station and the way the shop blends naturally into the shopping street all seem to contribute to its welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to the warm personality of the family and their reliable skills, I feel relaxed every time. I can truly understand why so many customers support this shop. I look forward to continuing to make reservations and visit regularly.
Barber Light is a popular choice in the Chitose-Funabashi, Kyōdō, Yoga, and Sakura-Shinmachi area. The barbers here have excellent skills, delivering exactly the style you want at very reasonable prices. Whether it’s a skin fade, a close clip, or a two-block cut, the results are always highly satisfying. The service is warm and courteous, and conversations flow naturally. I’ve tried several barbershops along Setagaya-dori and in the surrounding area, but in both skill and customer service, this one feels the best. Since it’s a popular shop, I recommend making a reservation—weekdays tend to be smoother. Recently, more staff have joined, so it’s likely reservations will become easier to book going forward.
I’ve known the owner for a long time, and even after moving away from Setagaya, I still drive an hour each month to come here. Since reservations are available, it’s convenient to book the next appointment before leaving the shop. After the renovation, the atmosphere has become even better, with softly playing jazz creating a relaxing space. The owner makes the most of his youthful perspective, incorporating the latest styles into the cuts, which I truly appreciate.
